the Story begin's Part 2

Upon adopting Simon we decided to move him to a friends house for a start. Our friends live about 20 mins away from our house and have a horse of their own that needed company. They didn't have a sand arena but there was a small grass arena that we were determined to make work throughout the winter! Also before getting Simon we knew he needed to gain a few pounds. By doing chores over at the barn we would be able to keep a close eye on what he was eating....... and NOT! And this is where our struggle began. A skinny little throughbred that looked bad enough for the humane society to stop in, and what was he intrested in? Making sure every blade of grass was in the same place he left it yesterday! My next few posts will fast forward time alittle to give you the whole overview of what we tried, what didn't work, and what is now currently working! I hope this helps somebody out there so you don't have to go through the battle we did!!
